The puppies are never better than their parents. So when we decided to have puppies it mattered that ours weren't just healthy, but had wonderful personalities — and every one of them lives here with us.
Every puppy here comes from these parents, and every one of them lives with us. Our mamas were all born here, and are all daughters of Mama Blueberry and Daddy Oreo — check out our about page to hear that story!
The mamas
Frosty
Frosty is a Blueberry daughter, F1 (half Old English Sheepdog, half poodle), and about 55 lbs. She's got her mother's easy temperament and a coat that lightened to a soft silver-and-white as she grew.
Ida as a puppy — new photos coming soon!Ida
Ida is the stereotypical sheepadoodle: shaggy, silly, and happiest in the middle of whatever the family is doing. She's a Blueberry daughter, F1, right around 55 lbs, and a wonderful mama. Ida is the dam of our current mini litter with Wally.

Ivy is Ida's littermate and every bit the stereotypical sheepadoodle — laid back, adorable, and never far from a lap. F1, about 55 lbs, and a Blueberry daughter.

Irene is a Blueberry daughter, F1, about 55 lbs, and the very picture of a sheepadoodle — cream and silver, tongue out, ready to lean on you. She's the dam of our current standard litter with Casper.
The dads

Casper is a parti-colored AKC Standard Poodle we've had since the day he was born. He's right around 60 lbs, has beautiful markings, and a fun, outgoing personality — I don't think he has ever met a stranger. He's the sire of our current standard litter.
Wally
Wally is always thrilled to see us, is full of boundless energy, and produces puppies that share his teddy bear looks. He's a red AKC Mini Poodle, about 15 lbs, and the sire of our current mini litter.

Where it all started. Every mama in our program is a Blueberry × Oreo daughter — the whole story is on our about page.

Our founding female, Blueberry is as laid back as they come. She is a gentle girl who just wants to lay down in the middle of the family room and watch the chaos around her. She is an amazing road-tripper and didn't complain a bit when she moved with us from Colorado to TN in a mini van with four kids. Her exceptional temperament and great mothering skills are what made me decide to keep back FOUR of her daughters for our program.
Oreo
A perfect example of a Standard Poodle, Oreo LOVES his people, is crazy smart, and likes to cuddle! He's our very first poodle and, with Blueberry, the daddy of every mama in our program. He has since retired to full-time cuddle duty.
Health testing
Health testing: our mamas are DNA clear by parentage (Ida by Wisdom Panel). Sires are AKC registered and DNA tested — reports are linked on their cards. A note on Casper's paperwork: his DNA results are filed under the name "Caspian" — we hadn't settled on his name yet when we ran the panel. Same poodle.
About those names
Ida, Ivy and Irene came from Blueberry and Oreo's "I" litter (Frosty from an earlier one). Themed litters are how we tell, years later, which litter a Sheepadoodle came from — so you'll notice our current puppies have themes too.
