The classic sheepadoodle, 55–60 lbs
Black and white as puppies, softening toward grey and white as they grow — just like an Old English Sheepdog. Our standards come from our Blueberry daughters, Irene and Ivy (both F1 girls around 55 lbs), bred to Casper, our 60-lb AKC Standard Poodle — so the puppies are F1b, 75% poodle, non-shedding, and finish around 55–60 lbs.
Standards are the calmer, steadier size — the one I'd point most families with young kids toward. Here's why I still love them.
