The classic sheepadoodle, 55–60 lbs
Black and white as puppies, softening toward grey and white as they grow — just like an Old English Sheepdog. Our standards come from Irene (F1, 55 lbs, a Blueberry daughter) and Casper, our 60-lb AKC Standard Poodle, so the puppies are F1b, 75% poodle, non-shedding, and finish around 55–60 lbs.
Standards are the calmer, steadier size — the one I'd point most families with young kids toward. Here's why I still love them.
